Using different printmaking techniques to create a children's book about Nudibranchs.
NUDIBRANCH BOOK
I have created a children's book about Nudibranchs (New-dih-branks). This was really fun and interesting to create as Nudibranchs are very strange and visually amazing creatures, as well as being a subject not many people know about. Therefore, I created a small book explaining what they are and their amazing 'superpowers'.
To create the illustrations, I printed some lithographs and pressed textures. I then digitally combined them to create interesting textured images. I produced a variety of different illustrations and diagrams, showing the diversity of these creatures. I then wrote my own information from plenty of research.
This book is a prototype. Currently, I am expanding on this and looking to self-publish.
