Meet my newest puppet - a hellhound (a.k.a Hellie!)



This was another experiment of trying out a new type of puppet. I wanted to create something that could be operated by one person and from materials I already owned/charity shop/recycled.

It didn't go quite as I'd hoped but it's a starting point to keep trying out new ideas. I originally wanted the legs to move and I tried a few options. If I had another puppeteer it might have worked but it was a bit difficult with just myself!

I will be posting some videos of 'Hellie' in action and some behind the scenes. As well as revealing a secret feature...
