Natural Energy: Portals is an ongoing 3D mixed media series exploring the importance of trees and the living energy contained within them. I am incredibly inspired by nature and love the mysterious, living and growing energy surrounding me when I go for walks in the forest. My aim is to visually depict this through colourful portals opening up and revealing the energy inside.
Every piece is illustrated from my own photographs of interesting trees that I find on my journeys. Whether it be in a forest or in the city - each one has its own unique colourful portal. The foggy background adds to the mysterious atmosphere, creating a strange sense of reality mixed with fantasy.
